Young Adults Living At Home

Great article this morning by Rick Newman of Yahoo Finance. Instead of being critical of the large number of millennial's living at home with their parents, Mr. Newman suggests that they are doing exactly what they should be doing and whether they realize it or not, it is a shrewd financial strategy. They will move out eventually, and when they do, their debts will be paid down and they might even have some money in the bank. All because they chose to live in the basement for a couple of years. Things are different today….we can’t expect this generation to move up and out as quickly as previous generations….there isn’t any place to go! People do what they have to do until they garner the resources to do what they want to do. These folks will get started at some point and will be healthier when they do.
